Daydream at Dusk

- Info -
This was a four week uni project, focusing on the audio tracks created by the audio students (Kevin Barber).
For this project the our audio designer created this track basing it around wanting to create a similar experience to games such as Alto's adventure. So we developed a runner type game that focused more on the aesthetics rather than mechanics, resulting in Daydream at Dusk.
- What My Role Was -
During the production of this project I spent the majority working on the aesthetics of the game. This included:
 - Asset Creation - all the art was designed to have a silhouette aesthetic, with the lighting to be the highlights. (This does NOT include the lighting, credit goes to Riley Lollback).
- Game/Level Design - planning how the level was going to play out, from things like wherebig moments happen to how/what the player does in the level.
 - Graphic Design - all the assets and graphic's used in game and for the itch.io page
- Game Description -
Daydream at Dusk is the result of a four week collaboration between Jesse Linards (Game Dev), Kevin Barber (Audio Design) and Riley Lollback (Game Dev)
We tried to create an audio-visual experience that was reminiscent of childhood fantasies and did our best to merge the music and the gameplay into one.
Sit back and relax or use Space to jump and play with the hypnotic landscape. Hope you enjoy it!
